Project Goals

Cybersecurity is a complex topic. Many prospects understand that threats are increasing, but they may not know where to start, what to protect first, or why Microsoft Security solutions are relevant to their business.

Strategic thinking

The strategy was to design the kit as a connected buyer journey, where each touchpoint had a clear role in moving prospects from initial attention to informed action.

Awareness

The social posts were designed to grab attention quickly with direct headlines like “Six key cybersecurity trends for 2024” and “Protect your entire Digital Estate against Cyberthreats.”

These work well at the top of the funnel because the message is simple, visual, and easy to understand.

Lead Nurturing

The emailers/mailers were designed to move users from interest to action. They use a clear problem statement, supporting benefits, preview of the infographic, and repeated CTA buttons.

The “Six key trends” emailer includes both Download the infographic and Register for our Virtual Security Architect Service, which helps move users from content engagement to service evaluation.

Educate

The infographics were used as the deeper content layer. They explain the problem in more detail using cybersecurity trends, threat categories, statistics, and solution areas.

For example, the “Six key cybersecurity trends” infographic explains six key risk areas including email, identity, endpoints, IoT, cloud, and external attack surface.
